For newborns and children. The newborn period is the simplest time for circumcision. The procedure is quick, uses local anaesthetic, and babies heal fast. Newborn circumcision for babies under 2 months is $499, all-inclusive. For older babies and children, tell us your son’s age and any health concerns, and we’ll confirm eligibility and explain parental consent.

For teens and adults. Many men choose circumcision for lasting relief from a tight foreskin or recurring infections. Others choose it for personal, cultural, or religious reasons, including brit milah, khitan, or tuli. Let us know your reason when you book, and we’ll tailor your consultation to your goals.

What Your Medical Assessment Covers

Your consultation with Dr. Dewan includes:

Your symptoms or reasons for considering circumcision
Any treatments you’ve already tried
Medications, supplements, and allergies
Any history of unusual bleeding or reactions to anaesthesia
Whether a non-surgical option, such as steroid cream for a tight foreskin, might help first

For a child with a foreskin concern, Dr. Dewan will explain whether it’s likely normal development or a condition that needs treatment. A foreskin that doesn’t pull back is often normal in young boys.

Consent and Preparing for Your Appointment

You’ll receive clear preparation instructions before your visit, matched to your procedure and anaesthesia plan. For a child, we’ll confirm who needs to attend and which consent forms to bring. Don’t change medications, fasting, or feeding unless our team advises it. If you or your child becomes unwell before the appointment, call us and we’ll help you reschedule.

After your procedure, you’ll go home with aftercare instructions and a direct number for questions. We’ll explain when follow-up is needed and where to get help after hours, so you’re supported once you’re back home in New West.
